Carter turned 14 months on November 17!!

Carter is now 14 months! Wow a lot of changes at this age!
He is talking a lot more. He says, "up and down", "Uh Oh" when he drops something, and still Rambo, Mama and Dada! He is saying ton more Dada these days though:)

He is down to one nap a day and is tending to be a little more picky with his eating! He can not get enough water, avocados, bananas, waffles, cheese, sausage and yogurt. He loves opening up doors and cabinets and his favorite thing in the world is a light switch. He also is a big fan of keys and finds mine and honks my horn on the car outside of the house. It is a bit scary!

He has taken a lot of steps these days. Six steps was the most and getting better every day. He doesn't like all the fuss about it and if I am not paying attention he will walk across the room. He must be like his dad, not me:) His preferred way of getting around the house is still crawling though. He is seriously fast.

I know I say every month that this is such a fun age, but it really is. He is just fun fun fun to be around and we love every second of it.

Carter turned 13 months October 17th!!

Sorry I am way behind on this! Carter turned 13 months October 17th! He is becoming such a big boy! He is loving toys so much and being outside whenever possible. He just loves to play, play, play!
He is no longer taking a bottle and is eating everything! He is getting so close to walking. He loves walking around the house and outside on the sidewalk. (he hates grass) but still wants to hold my hand while doing it. Just waiting for the courage to do it himself I guess. He is probably the fasted crawler I have ever seen and my dad wants to put him in a crawling race haha! He is defiantly talking a ton more these days. He has added a new name for Rambo to his vocab. We think he is saying "Donga." It is really cute! He loves shutting doors and turning on and off lights. He opens the blinds and shuts them every day. That is his big chore around the house!

Carter and Pumpkins!

We have really been enjoying the October weather! I took Carter to the Dallas Arboretum a couple weeks ago with some friends and there little ones and took pics. Carter was very over tired at the Arboretum and wanted me to hold him the whole time. As soon as I put him in the car he fell asleep. Guess I should have timed this one better. I got a few great ones that I loved below.

Also, yesterday Nick and I brought Carter to a little Pumpkin Patch down the street to get pumpkins for the house, etc. It ended up being a cute place for pictures so I added these below from my phone.

CARTER TURNED 1 ON SEPTEMBER 17!!!!

I am sorry I have not posted in so long. Our lives have been soooo busy these days!

Carter turned ONE years old on September 17th!! It was the best day! We had Aunt Allison, Uncle Darian, Cousin Tristan and Grandma in town. Carter had pancakes and eggs for breakfast and we spent the day getting ready for his big party!

The party started at 4:05 and we had all of our dear friends and family over. It was the perfect day! I attached some of my favorite pictures from Carter's bday below. I took almost 200 so did not want to post all of those.

Carter is such a little boy! He is getting close to walking, but still wants to hold one of our hands. He eats literally everything! He is not picky so far! He is having a little separation anxiety these days, but I realize I need to embrace this because soon he is going to want to be independent and not want to cuddle so much.

He weighs about 21.5 lbs and is 30 inches. Not sure where he is getting his height! He loves playing with toys now and is really getting into them. He loves reading books too. He brings them to Nick and I to read to him all the time. He is still taking 2 naps a day and sleeping great at night, but loves to wake up early in the morning!
