Carter's 2nd Birthday Party

Hi All!
I am trying to catch up on all my blog posts. As you can see the title of the blog has changed to "Meservation for 4." We have been a little busy these days.

All the craziness started after Carter's 2nd Birthday Party. It was such a fun day with all our friends and family. We had so much fun at the Frontiers of Flight Museum. We played on the bounce house and planes. Carter loved the pizza and birthday cake.

At the party, I went into Labor with Sally. It was so much fun she couldn't wait to come out and join. Below are some of our favorite pictures from the party!

Summer Vacations 2012

I decided to do one big blog post on our trips this summer instead of each one. I also need to clean out my camera for Carter's bday party and the birth of his sister on Friday. This is a long post, but great pics:)

We had such an amazing, but busy summer. It was so much fun! Our first trip was to California for the 4th of July. We stayed with Mimi and Grandpa. We went to the beach and Carter was not a fan of the sand. It was funny.We watched fireworks from their balcony, It was amazing. It was such a fun trip! Below are my favorite pics!

Our next trip was the McCurry/Adair Family Reunion in San Angelo. I did not take too many photos. It was a great trip and so wonderful catching up with everyone!!!

Next we went with the Miller's to Castle Pines near Denver. It was so much fun and very relaxing. Nick got to play a ton of golf and Katy and I took the kids on long walks and hung out and watched them play. It was so pretty there! Carter loved the golf cart and watching Dad golf!

After Colorado, Nick and I took Carter to Lost Pines Resort outside of Austin. It was seriously one of the best trips! We have not been on a family trip, just us, so we figured this was the time. It is a huge resort that is major kid focused. I dont think Carter has ever been so happy in one weekend. We will definitely be back!

Carter turned 23 Months on August 17

Carter is almost 2 years old. This month has been a lot of fun with Carter. He is really growing up. He really makes us laugh. He loves to sing and talk all the time. We love listening to him on the monitor in the mornings just singing. He still loves cars and trucks but this month he has really gotten into coloring. He wants to color all the time. He loves sidewalk chalk too. He knows all of his colors and it is fun to watch him draw!

Next month Carter will be a big brother as well as turn 2. Here are some pictures of him with a baby doll and kissing my belly. He is showing a little of his character in these pics too.
