Carter turned 15 months December 17th

Carter is now 15 months!!
He is such a little ham! He cracks Nick and I up. Carter is loving to play these days. This past month he has become obsessed with one episode of "Sid the Science Kid." He only likes the episode from our DVR on November 7th. Hope we don't delete it. He loves to dance to the songs. He is not loving it as much these days. Now he just cant get enough of reading books. Hopefully this phase sticks!

Carter is loving this walking thing. He gets better at it every day. Last night he was just walking around the house. It is so cute to see. He gets so proud of himself and after walking for a while starts clapping. He wants us to cheer!

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving weekend at my parents house! It was a fun filled weekend including tons of eating, much needed family time, shopping and funny sleeping arrangements.

We had so much fun with my dad's side of the family, The Thompson family. Bryan and the girls joined us as well as Brad, Debbie and their boys and Dyanne and Doug. It was a packed house. We loved every second of it. Katie and Kelsey were so helpful with Carter. He loves them. I had so much fun shopping with the girls and letting them paint my nails tie die.

I cant believe we slept 15 people at my parents house. Poor Scott and Kevin on deflated air mattresses:)

The Thompson Family

Carter turned 14 months on November 17!!

Carter is now 14 months! Wow a lot of changes at this age!
He is talking a lot more. He says, "up and down", "Uh Oh" when he drops something, and still Rambo, Mama and Dada! He is saying ton more Dada these days though:)

He is down to one nap a day and is tending to be a little more picky with his eating! He can not get enough water, avocados, bananas, waffles, cheese, sausage and yogurt. He loves opening up doors and cabinets and his favorite thing in the world is a light switch. He also is a big fan of keys and finds mine and honks my horn on the car outside of the house. It is a bit scary!

He has taken a lot of steps these days. Six steps was the most and getting better every day. He doesn't like all the fuss about it and if I am not paying attention he will walk across the room. He must be like his dad, not me:) His preferred way of getting around the house is still crawling though. He is seriously fast.

I know I say every month that this is such a fun age, but it really is. He is just fun fun fun to be around and we love every second of it.
