Sally 10 months, Carter 34 months July 2013

July was a fabulous month. Sally is a big time sleeper now thanks to Cece sleep training her while we went to Colorado. She is happy and healthy now! Carter is also potty trained this month. Everything is going great this month. We have been home most of the month and enjoying Houston. Carter is into his trains a lot this month as well as play dough and art. We have started a gymboree class with both kids. It is so funny to see the difference in the two children. Carter still loves to be with me and Sally loves to run around and get into other things. She is so funny. Carter has definitely started becoming very afraid of things at this age. Very scared of the bath and going down the stairs etc. It is hard going up and down the stairs with two kids ha! Carter went to summer camp at school for a few weeks. We also went to Gaveston with the McCurrys. It was a blast. Carter stayed up until 11:30 every night and did not love the beach, but Sally sure did. She ate a lot of sand. It was very fun! Sally is so so close to walking and not sure if I can count first steps or not. Waiting for a few and more often to really count it. But I have a feeling in the next month she definitely will be. Carter is doing really well with the potty and loves being a big boy most of the time. Here are some pics of Sally into everything and Carter having a meltdown. The typical day these days:)

Sally 9 months, Carter 33 Months, June 2013

Well I would say June is the hardest month we have had so far haha!

Nick had his shoulder surgery earlier this month and at the same time Sally had a 3 week double ear infection that 2 antibiotics did not heal but finally 3 shots of antibiotics did. I thought we were going in for tubes when I found out we were all clear. Carter has been waking up too at night and they wake each other up. It has been a hard one but we survived:) Kevin came to stay with us for a week as well as Grandma and Cece. We have had a lot of fun with our visitors and going to the neighborhood pool and enjoying the summer! Here are some pics from Father's Day! It was a fun day with Nick and the kids:)

Sally 8 Months, Carter 32 Months, May 2013

May has been a great month. We are finally feeling settled in Houston. The weather is still nice. Nick had shoulder sugery this month so it has been a little crazy with that but overall a great month. We went to Dallas to visit friends and have been in Houston making new friends. Sally got another tooth and is crawling up a storm this month. She is pulling up as well. She is a very busy little girl. Carter is still the same as last month but is waking up a bit more at night, which is not like him. Here are some pics:)
