Carter's Nursery

I wanted to start this blog with pics of Carter's Nursery. We worked on the Nursery for several months and had a blast! We wanted it to be a elegant, soft theme but still feel like a little boys room. We always liked the cowboy idea, but didn't want to go with bandannas or red and denim at all. We decided to go with a soft cowboy theme.

The crib is an iron pewter crib that we loved because it felt so different than other cribs we looked at. It will be a great crib for our family through the years and it is unisex. We went with grey on the rocker and the rug as well. The dresser is a black with pewter knobs to match the crib. The decorations are pewter stars, baby cowboy painting, picture frames of Rambo and family, and Nick's spurs and vest from when he was little. We are very happy with how it all turned out:)

Why am I doing a blog?

I am doing this blog to share photos, baby milestones and family events with all of our family and friends. Carter is only 2 weeks old and I already feel like I have a million things to share. He is such a blessing to Nick and I and I cant wait to share everything!
The title of the blog was really hard to come up with. I wanted something different than, "Meserve Family Blog." Nick and I were sitting around and I told him I wanted something with our last name in it. He said how about "A Meservation for 3" while he was laughing. I thought it was perfect. A little unique.
