January 2013 - Sally 4 Months, Carter 28 Months

Wow what a Month!! We have officially moved to Houston. We are currently living in a corporate apartment until our home is built. Carter is in heaven living in a high rise. So much to look at (especially watching the McDonald's being built) and loves running around downstairs and pushing the elevator buttons. He is a little celebrity in the building and everyone loves to give him a high five! It has been a very stressful month but I feel it has been good for all of us. Our lives are definitely a littler slower paced here which is hard to imagine with two little ones. We are really liking Houston so far and cant wait to get into our house in March.

Carter has made some huge changes this month. He is loving school especially the Chapel CD of church music they gave him at school. Nick and I probably know every church song there is these days and Carter requests us to sing and clap after every song. He is really into imaginary play and loves to play farm animals pretending they are different people in the family and has birthday parties with crayons as candles. He defiantly is in the tantrum phase (Not sure if it ever ends) but overall he is as sweet as can be!!

Sally is becoming such a baby instead of an infant. She is rolling all over the place. She loves to watch Carter and just laughs and laughs at him. It is the cutest thing ever! She is sleeping great still. She is the best baby and could not be any sweeter and cuddly.

Pics below was an interesting experience. Carter was playing with a sticker and tried to get it off his hand and swung his hand in Sallys face. Poor Sally.

Christmas 2012

Christmas 2012 was a wonderful Christmas because Carter was so into the trees, lights, baby Jesus, Christmas music and spending time with family. It was especially special because it was Sally's first Christmas and it snowed in Dallas on Christmas Day!! Nick was home most of December commuting to/from Houston so that was special as well. Only bad part was that we all were terribly sick during the holidays. Carter, Sally and I had over 103 temps and were sick for over a week. It was really hard to have the energy but we made the best of it. Below are some pictures from when Grandma came in town as well as spending Christmas at Cece and Pops house!
